Privacy & cookies

The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send you your report, we never sell it, we use no tracking cookies, and one click stops all emails. The full version follows, written to be read.

Cookies: we don't use them

This site sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party cookies. That's why you don't see a cookie banner: there's nothing to ask your permission for.

We do count visits using a cookieless, anonymous measurement service (Vercel Analytics). It tells us how many people visited and which pages they read. It cannot tell us who anyone is, and it doesn't follow you around the internet.

Our emails contain no tracking pixels either. An unsubscribe link, and that's it.

What we collect

When you run a free check we collect: your email address, your website address, your business name if you choose to give it, and the results of the automated tests we run on your website's public homepage.

That's it. No account, no card details, no tracking profiles.

Why we collect it

Your email is used to send you the report you asked for, plus at most three follow-up emails over the following week. Your website address is what we test. Test results are stored so your report link keeps working.

Our lawful basis is consent. You give it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Who we share it with

Nobody, commercially. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

Like almost every online service, we use a small number of processors to operate: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, stored in the EU), Resend (email delivery), Google PageSpeed (your public website address is submitted to run the speed test), and OpenAI (test results are summarised into plain English; your email address is not sent to them).

How long we keep it

Reports and lead details are kept while they're useful for providing the service. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and permanently.

Want your data deleted entirely? Email us and we'll remove your records within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sitemot.co.uk and we'll sort it. No forms, no fuss.
